Directions The start / finish line is easily accessible at Clearwater's waterfront, by taking State Road 60 (Gulf to Bay) west, turning right onto Osceola, just after crossing Ft. Harrison. Head north on Osceola across Cleveland Street, turning left into the Steinmart parking lot, west down to the interconnected Coachman Park parking lot. If you get onto Clearwater Causeway to Clearwater Beach, you've gone too far!

If you use mapquest, enter 300 Cleveland Street, Clearwater for the closest building adjacent to the start / finish line.

5 Miler

Starts at Coachman Park on Clearwater's downtown waterfront, heads west over the majestic Clearwater Memorial Bridge to Clearwater Beach, turning around at the circle. and returning across Clearwater Causeway, back over the bridge, downhill to the finish line at Coachman Park.

This will be a great race for athletes seeking a challenging yet scenic course between 5k - 10k. The vast majority of the course will offer wonderful waterviews.

Walkers

Walkers are welcome to participate and halfathon finishers are rewarded with our unique, running starfish medals.

The course opens to traffic based on a 4 hour pace from the 7:05 am early start. This means walkers slower than that pace at various intervals will need to move to sidewalks and adhere to all pedestrian laws. For instance, walkers need to be at the midpoint by 9:05 am, 2 hours after the early start of the race. Walkers expecting to finish slower than 3 hours will be required to start early at 7:05 am. This will allow the walkers to arrive at the finish line by 11:05 am, and also allow us to open the course to traffic earlier, keeping residents and city officials happy. Walkers expecting to finish faster than 3 hours may start with the runners at 7:35 am.

Course Limit The finish line will be open for 4 hours, and the course will open to traffic based upon that pace. For instance, participants should be at the midpoint by 9:05 am. Participants slower than that need to move to the sidewalks and adhere to normal pedestrian laws.
Course Profile The out-and-back half marathon course is mostly flat and aesthetically varied, while challenging, due to the course passing over two significant bridges two times each. The high point for each bridge is just 74 feet above sea level, with the rest of the course totally flat.
